A-star stuns Met Gala fans in bizarre living statue outfit… but can you guess who?
The Met Gala is known for its out-of-the-box displays on fashion’s biggest night, but one attendee took the concept to a whole new level.
On the heels of Nicole Kidman, Lauren Sanchez and Gigi Hadid, dazzling on the red carpet, one of the world’s most famous supermodels ensured that all attention was resolutely focused on her arrival.
With this year’s theme, Costume Art, and the Fashion is Art dress code leaving plenty of room for interpretation, the 52-year-old TV personality leaned all the way forward and rocked a look that could only be described as a living statue.
Clad in sculptural, stone-like details, she seemed to channel both the Statue of Liberty and a classical Greek figure in her striking ensemble.
The dramatic transformation immediately drew comparisons to the elaborate costumes of her famous over-the-top Halloween parties.
But can you guess the mysterious Met Gala attendee?

When you say Heidi Klum, you are clearly a fashion insider.
And fans were quick to respond on social media, with one follower commenting: ‘Heidi Klum found a second Halloween at the Met Gala.’
Another wrote: ‘She’s into the theme and she can repeat this for her Halloween party.’
A third added: ‘I love how she brings Halloween spirit to everything.’
But not everyone was impressed. One critic tweeted: “This is really disturbing.”
Another simply said: ‘I can’t continue with this.’
Klum is no stranger to the Met Gala. He has attended several over the years, including 2008, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2019, often opting for bold, fashionable looks to match the theatrical spirit of the event.
However, she is even more famous for her Halloween parties, where she regularly transforms into elaborate, almost unrecognizable characters.

Over the years, these events have become almost as high-profile as the Met Gala itself.
“The title ‘Costume Art’ refers to the history of the Costume Institute,” Andrew Bolton, curator of the Costume Institute, said at a recent press conference.
Bolton, choosing the theme, said fashion “has the status of art because of, and not in spite of, its relationship to the body.”
The 2026 Met Gala had a host committee that included committee co-chairs Anthony Vaccarello and Zoe Kravitz, along with members Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Angela Bassett, Gwendoline Christie, Misty Copeland, Elizabeth Debicki, Lena Dunham, Sam Smith, Teyana Taylor and more.
Costume Art runs from May 10 to January 10 next year, following the Met Gala on May 4.
The event makes a huge amount of money for the museum and provides the Costume Institute with its main source of funding.
The 2026 event will be the first since Anna Wintour technically stepped back from one of her famous roles at Vogue.

Wintour announced in June last year that she was stepping down as editor-in-chief of American Vogue after 37 years.
The global director of Vogue and global chief content officer at Conde Nast has hired Chloe Malle as the new head of editorial content at Vogue.
Wintour has been incredibly involved with the Met Gala over the years and is credited with making it the splashy A-list it has become, beloved by celebrities like Rihanna, the Kardashians, Blake Lively, Zendaya and more.
Last year, many stars were absent from the Met Gala, and some people thought this was to avoid making mistakes due to the Superfine: Tailoring Black Style theme, which centered around the political and aesthetic constructs of black dandyism (a meticulous and flamboyant style created by black people to challenge the social restrictions placed on them).
