Axed Strictly star Nadiya Bychkova proves the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as her daughter Mila, 10, wins medals in a dance competition
Nadiya Bychkova proved the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when her daughter Mila, 10, won several medals in a dance competition.
The axed Strictly star, 36, took to Instagram on Monday and shared several photos of Mila attending the event at the InterContinental London at The O2.
Nadiya also posted a video of Mila on the dance floor and a photo of the pair together with several medals draped around her daughter’s neck.
Alongside the post, she wrote: ‘So proud of my little girl.✨ Another weekend of competition, more medals, more memories…and watching her fall in love with dance in her own way is my favorite part of it all. Keep shining, my Mila.’
Nadiya looked stunning for the event in a white blazer and matching trousers which she wore with open heels.
Mila’s father is Matija Škarabot, a Slovenian footballer to whom Nadiya was previously engaged before they broke up.

BBC bosses have still not secured any new hosts and it’s a race against time with just four months to go before the 24th series kicks off.
Normally around this time of year celebrity leaks start circulating, but instead all the focus is on finding replacements for Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, who left the flagship show last year.
Tess and Claudia announced they were leaving in October, but six months later there is still no confirmation of who will take over.
After weeks of speculation and several big names turning down the job, nine shortlisted stars were summoned to a top-secret location in London to compete in large-scale dress rehearsals with a jury and a live band in an attempt to get the troubled show back on track.
BBC bosses held secret auditions and chemistry tests with the celebrities and forced the stars to sign strict non-disclosure agreements to keep the tryouts secret.
A source told The Sun: ‘It’s not just about reading autocue. They will look at how people work together and humor is a big part of that. There’s everything to play for.’
Those chosen to be called up for the final test have been closely monitored and bosses hope to make a decision soon.
Nadiya also posted a video of Mila on the dance floor and a photo showing off one of her medals
She captioned the post: “So proud of my little girl.✨ Another competition weekend, more medals, more memories.”
Nadiya added, “Watching her fall in love with dance in her own way is my favorite part of it all. Keep shining, my Mila’
Among those confirmed to be in the callbacks were Rylan Clark, Emma Willis, Tom Allen, podcast host Angela Scanlon and One Show presenter Alex Jones.
Other stars called up for the auditions included This Morning presenter Alison Hammond, The Chase presenter Bradley Walsh, RuPaul’s Drag Race star La Voix and Radio 2’s Zoe Ball.
A source said: ‘They really want to bring fun this year. It’s all about the chemistry that clicks immediately and can keep the energy in the air live.
‘They could stick with two female presenters, because that has worked very well. But they’re also open to mixing it up.
‘If Rylan and Tom Allen click, it could be a hilarious combination. They could even introduce a third presenter to shake things up.”
It is believed that bosses are testing a range of combinations and nothing is off the table.
