Triple glory for Mail on Sunday money expert Rachel Rickard Straus as she sweeps the field at Headline Money awards
Rachel Rickard Straus, the outstanding deputy personal finance editor of The Mail on Sunday, won the prestigious Headline Money awards last week.
Rachel joined the paper a year ago and was voted general money reporter of the year for her work in the must-read newspaper’s Personal Finance and Wealth sections.
She was also named both Savings and Investment Journalist of the Year.
At a glitzy awards ceremony in central London, Rachel was praised, with judges describing her financial journalism as “with a “human touch”.
Rachel joined the paper a year ago and was voted General Money Journalist of the Year for her work in the paper’s must-read Personal Finance and Wealth sections.
Her work on Wealth received particular praise.
A judge said: ‘She wants to help people invest their money and she is doing it very well.’
Another described her writing as “beautiful.”
The awards, also known as the Oscars of financial journalism, confirm The Mail on Sunday’s commitment to reporting par excellence.
