A Florida teen accused of murdering his classmate by stabbing her 114 times has been caught on camera saying he believes “demons will take away his soul.”

Aiden Fucci, 14, made the bizarre remark Wednesday during a hearing in anticipation of the brutal murder of 13-year-old Tristyn Bailey, which took place in St. Johns on May 9.

Fucci – who has been charged with first degree murder – virtually attended the hearing from a conference room at the Duval County Jail, where he is currently being held without bail.

“Please don’t let the demons take my soul. The demons are going to take my soul away,” Fucci could be heard muttering into the taped hearing.

‘Why am I here? I just want to talk to my mom and dad. What is happening? What is happening?’ he then asked.

Fucci was also seen in the clip rocking back and forth on a prison chair with a confused look on his face.

A forensic psychologist not involved in the murder case told NEWS 4 it is likely that Fucci will now receive a “mental competence evaluation” given his conduct during the hearing.

Fucci has not given a motive for his alleged murder of Baily, who was his classmate at Patriot Oaks Academy in St. Johns.

The hearing was adjourned to October 28.

Last week, prosecutors released surveillance videos from the night of the murder, in which Fucci and Bailey are said to be walking together shortly after midnight to a wooded area in their St Johns neighborhood.

Less than two hours later — just before 2 a.m. — the same security camera caught Fucci running in the opposite direction.

At the same time, prosecutors also made public video footage captured from Fucci’s home after the murder.

It reportedly shows Fucci’s mother, Crystal Smith, going upstairs and picking up her son’s jeans, before allegedly scrubbing the blood off them.

When police searched Fucci’s home, they reportedly found Buck’s knife scabbard in his room, as well as shoes and a shirt with blood on it.

Those jeans—as well as the drain at Smith’s house—later tested positive for blood

Smith has been charged with one felony of evidence manipulation.

A neighbor's camera captured what police said was the last time Bailey was seen alive on the morning of May 9 walking with Fucci to a wooded area in St Johns, Florida.

Meanwhile, prosecutors have painted a picture of Fucci as a deranged young teenager.

According to separate court documents, one of Fucci’s girlfriends told police that the teen often talked about killing people.

She also said that Fucci would “take his knife and pretend to stab her with it” and that he would “make graphics of mutilated bodies.”

The friend also told detectives that Fucci often heard voices when he was angry, telling him to kill people.

When detectives searched Fucci’s home, they discovered a notebook filled with “violent” drawings of women, including one depicting a woman with red X’s on her breasts and severed arms with blood flowing from them.

Prosecutors also got a Snapchat video of Fucci laughing as he sat in the back of a police car after being taken in for questioning by police the day after the murder. “Guess who’s in a cop car… tripping, dude,” the clip says.

He also took a selfie mirroring the police video with the caption, “Hey guys, has inybody (sic) seen Tristyn lately?”

Fucci was initially arrested on charges of second-degree murder and held in a youth center the day after Bailey’s body was found.

Authorities said his DNA was found on Bailey’s body.

Prosecutors later upgraded the charge to first-degree murder.

Fucci pleaded not guilty to murder and is still incarcerated without bail. Smith was released after posting $25,000 bail.

Bailey, 13, was a cheerleader at the Patriot Oaks Academy in St. Johns.
