Serge Aurier is reportedly open to a move to Arsenal after terminating his contract with Tottenham by mutual consent.
The right-back told Spurs of his intention to leave the club last summer, but was unable to find a suitable transfer before the end of the transfer window. Consequently, both sides agreed to prematurely terminate his contract, which was due to expire at the end of the seasons.
Aurier is now a free agent and prefers to stay in England. According to air sportsArsenal are one of a number of clubs that have been made aware of this.

The defender, who reportedly had offers for France, Russia and Turkey, spent four years at Tottenham after signing for around £23 million from Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.
Aurier had links with Arsenal in the past after he tweeted a photo of himself wearing a Gunners shirt during his time at Toulouse in 2013. The post was later deleted.
Arsenal have withdrawn Takehiro Tomiyasu on the day of the deadline, while Cedric Soares and Calum Chambers are other options available to Mikel Arteta.

The 28-year-old rivaled the likes of Kieran Trippier and Matt Doherty for supremacy on the right flank during his time in north London, with Japhet Tanganga favored this season in the role of new boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
His future looked bleak after the arrival of Emerson Royal from Barcelona on deadline day in a deal worth £25.7 million.
Announcing the departure of the Ivory Coast star, Tottenham said: “The Club can confirm the departure of Serge Aurier following the mutual termination of his contract.

The 28-year-old paid tribute to the club on his departure – thanked fans for their support but said he was ready for the next chapter of his career.
He said: “I really enjoyed my time at Spurs and would like to thank the club and the fans, but I think now is the right time to take on a new challenge.”
