Sam and Phoebe, 32, ended their marriage shortly after Christmas in 2018, just three months after the South Sydney Rabbitohs star was cleared of any involvement in an NRL ‘sexting’ affair.

Despite reconciling in early 2019, the same year they called it quits for good — weeks after welcoming their second child together.
Sam was originally identified as the player at the center of the affair after it was revealed that his Facebook account was used in May 2018 to request a nude video chat with a 23-year-old woman.

Just hours after the scandal came to light, Phoebe, who was 26 weeks pregnant at the time, pulled out of a gig at Randwick Racecourse. She was expected to act as an ambassador for Colgate toothpaste.
Burgess’ rugby-playing brothers both stood by him during the controversy.
Although his wife Phoebe did not specifically speak about the incident publicly, she expressed support for her husband via social media.
During the scandal, the Rabbitohs star thanked his family for helping him through a “tough few days,” before adding: “Luckily, I have a strong wife.”
“What hurts me the most is that my wife is upset,” he said at the time.
The couple share two children together; Poppy, four, and son Billy, two.
