A pregnant mother of two who makes satirical videos has convinced some people that she is 62 years old. She says she maintains a youthful glow by using her kids’ tears as a skin toner.

Jenny, 42, from Portland, Oregon, manages the Instagram account the good woman where she has amassed a following of 70,000 people and is expecting a baby boy in November.

In a series of videos, she claims she is 62 years old and describes the baby as a “miracle” as she hasn’t had a period in 16 years and her husband, 72, had a vasectomy more than a decade ago.

She made the videos to poke fun at the idea that expectant mothers over 35 are being considered ‘geriatric pregnancies’, and wWhile many people understand the joke, some of her followers seem to believe that she is real.

Commenting on a video titled Getting Pregnant at Age 62, someone wrote: “Many of my clients are 45+ and are having babies! I think it’s great, even if you didn’t quite plan this chapter of your book!’

Another added: ‘I don’t think you’re too old. I’m just thinking you’re 72 if he/she is ten or if he/she is 20 he/she could be a caregiver. If he’s 30 when he gets married, you’ll be 92. Wow, something to think about.”

Along the same lines, another added: ‘The typical lifespan ends at 76 years. It would be absolutely devastating for that child to lose his mother of old age and that child is not even a teenager.’

Many respondents seem unsure, with one writing: ‘Is she really 62? I’m so confused.’

And another Instagram user wrote: ‘Well, there are women in the Bible who had children in their later years. Everything is possible. I pray for a miracle.’

However, many of the users of the account are confused.

One commentator wrote: ‘I have to giggle so much that so many commentators still think this satire is the truth.’

Another added: “It’s sarcasm folks, she’s not really 62. She looks great and it doesn’t really matter how old she is.”

In one of her videos, Jenny asked the camera: “When people find out I’m pregnant, they like to ask, ‘How old are you?’

“Well, I’ll tell you. I am 62 years old and yes, I am going to break the Guinness Book of World Records for getting pregnant and giving birth naturally this year. More questions?’

In yet another video, she addressed people who asked how she can look so youthful despite being in her 60s, saying it’s not just about a “pregnancy glow.”

She said, ‘I moisten with goat’s milk butter daily and in the evening. And don’t forget to strengthen your skin with your children’s tears, and the ever-important caviar mask imported only from Russia.’

The post received mixed reactions, with one commenter saying, “Maybe you’re just telling people it’s a filter.”

Another, who appeared to be joking, wrote: ‘You look fantastic!! Tears of my children, I love them.’
