Desperate football fans have started the frenzied battle for tickets to Cristiano Ronaldo’s historic second Manchester United debut next weekend.

According to a report in the Time, ticket prices on resale platform Stubhub reached an astronomical £2,500, but now appear to have been quickly removed by the service provider.
Sports post has contacted Stubhub for comment on the matter.

However, United have urged fans not to purchase tickets through ticket reselling websites, to avoid being left out or having complications in getting their tickets.
“We strongly discourage fans from purchasing tickets from unauthorized sources,” a spokesperson told the United States Time.
“These tickets are often invalid, leaving fans disappointed and unable to see the match.”
