Kylian Mbappe has reportedly withdrawn from the French squad after suffering a calf injury during Les Bleus’ draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The 22-year-old was pulled out in the closing moments of his country’s World Cup qualifier in Strasbourg, with the 10-man world champion unable to make his way past the 58th-ranked side.
Mbappé has since undergone medical examination and L’Equipe (via marca) reports that he will not play in matches against Ukraine and Finland due to a calf problem and that he is exempt from international service.

The striker has returned to Paris Saint-Germain, although no timetable has been set for Mbappe’s possible return.
PSG fans have been hoping their star players will return from international duty unscathed, having breathed a huge sigh of relief after Lionel Messi suffered no serious injury following a horror tackle with Argentina.

He has been the subject of great interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid, who saw a £172million bid for the Frenchman beaten back by the Parisians despite him only being left on a one-year contract.
Los Blancos are expected to make a great pre-contract offer for Mbappe’s services in January, when they will be allowed to talk freely with the striker without having to negotiate with PSG.
Mauricio Pochettino is tasked with winning PSG’s first Champions League title and, with an attacking trio of Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi, is expected to finally triumph with the ambitious French giants.
