To make the vase, she used Liquid Nails to glue the bases of the bowls together.

She then mixed white interior paint with baking soda together to create a thick chalk paint to give the vase a matte, textured finish.

After drying, she styled the vase with wooden beads.

Her video has since been viewed more than 179,000 times, with many saying they couldn’t wait to recreate the vase at home.

“Love it, what a beautiful vase – the texture finish is perfect,” one wrote.

Another said: ‘Wow! This is amazing! I love this so much.’

While someone added, ‘I love this idea! Must try it!’

There are similar versions sold in retailers, including one from Country Road for $59.95 or handmade vases made from clay that sell for over $200 on Etsy.

Last week, house stylist Geneva Vanderzeil, from Brisbane, shared a TikTok video show how she made round vases from old glass jars.

“I had some pots that weren’t used, so I decided to use them to make these round wooden vases,” she said.

To make the vases, Geneva used a Cricut machine to cut out the waves evenly.

‘You’re pretty much only limited by your imagination when it comes to what you can make. Like these round wooden vases. Perfect curves can be so hard to do by hand, but not with my beautiful machine,” she said.

After the frames were cut out, she used a hot glue gun to glue them together to make a vase, all the while making sure the glass jar fit perfectly in the center.

After the glue has dried, she mixed an interior wall paint with baking soda to create a ‘chalky’ texture on the vase.
