‘I get my weed from California’: Justin Bieber launches his own range of pre-rolled cannabis joints inspired by hit Peaches… as pop star aims to ‘destigmatize’ marijuana consumption
Justin Bieber is breaking into the cannabis industry by marketing his own range of pre-rolled marijuana joints.
On Monday, it was announced that the 27-year-old pop star is in a relationship with the California-based company Palms, to release “PEACHES Pre-rolls,” named after his hit song Peaches.
The lyrics to the song’s chorus are, “I got my peaches out in Georgia (Oh, yeah, s***) I get my weed from California (That’s that s***).”
In a statement, Bieber said: “I’m a fan of Palms and what they do by making cannabis approachable and helping to destigmatize it, especially for the many people who find it helpful for their mental health.”

“I wanted to make sure I was doing something with them that felt real, and PEACHES felt like a good place to start.”
Last February, Bieber spoke candidly about his mental health and addiction issues in his docuseries Seasons.
“The first time I smoked weed was here in my backyard — I got super stoned,” he said. “And then I realized I really liked weed. Then my desire to smoke weed started, and then I started smoking weed for a while.’
He continued: ‘And then I really started to depend on it, and then I realized I had to stop. I don’t think it’s bad. It’s just that for me, it can be a dependency.’
For a good cause: A portion of PEACHES Pre-Rolls proceeds will go to these philanthropic partner organizations, the company said
Beyond his marijuana use, Bieber said in the paper that he also experimented with MDMA and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
However, it now appears that the pop star is taking a more balanced approach to cannabis consumption, which is legal in California.
A statement says Bieber’s partnership with the weed company is a “celebration” of his casting his vote on his journey to mental health.
Flying high: Bieber (pictured Saturday) says he wants to destigmatize it, “especially for the many people who find it helpful for their mental health.”
A portion of the proceeds from PEACHES Pre-Rolls will go to these philanthropic partner organizations, the company says, and Palms will use this partnership as a means to promote these important causes.
Palms and Justin Bieber support Veterans Walk and Talk, a community of veterans who advocate for the outdoors and cannabis use as a form of medicine.
They will also support the Last Prisoner Project, a leading non-profit organization committed to cannabis criminal justice reform, which supports individuals and their families affected by cannabis convictions.
