The former Bachelorette star, who was dumped from an on-air Channel Seven role Friday in the wake of the video backlash, appeared dejected as she practiced near her home.

The 33-year-old wore a sour expression and took to the road with determination.

While Georgia was jogging, her husband Lee Elliott, 40, left the house with a friend.

On Friday, news reporter Georgia was taken off the air and demoted to the production desk just days after he posted a “racist” video on Instagram.

The journalist had caused a stir on Monday by sharing images of a cat behind the window of an Asian restaurant and writing: ‘Shop assistant or lunch?!’

She removed the video an hour later, apologizing for causing “offense,” but denying at the time that the post contained racial “insinuation.”

Love also posted a similar “joke” about pets and Chinese restaurants in 2013.

Following a workplace investigation, Seven warned staff via email Friday that Love had been “advised” with immediate effect and reassigned to an off-camera role.

A spokesperson for Seven told Daily Mail Australia: ‘We have addressed this matter internally and disciplinary action has been taken.

“Seven does not condone this inappropriate behavior and all our employees have the right to work in a safe, nurturing workplace, free from prejudice.”

Love is reportedly “devastated” and “deeply sorry for her actions,” and has personally apologized to her colleagues, reports The Herald Sun.

“I want to apologize for an inappropriate post on my personal social media account this week and for an old post that has resurfaced,” Love said in an email from staff.

“I am deeply sorry for the pain I have caused and in particular for offending the Asian community. It certainly wasn’t my intention.

“My posts were inappropriate and offensive. There is no excuse in any forum for perpetuating racist stereotypes.

“I am determined to move forward, learn and grow in my new role and I hope I can regain your trust over time.”

Love’s apology was forwarded by news director Shaun Menegola to the editorial staff of Seven’s Melbourne, who acknowledged that her social media activities were “inappropriate and offensive”.

Love has also been dropped as an ambassador for Chadstone Shopping Centre.

A spokesperson for Chadstone told Daily Mail Australia on Friday that her contract was terminated the day she posted the offensive video.

“We were disappointed this week by a social media post from one of our friends of the Chadstone brand and as a result we have canceled our contract with Georgia,” they said.

“We always support diversity and welcome a range of customers and retailers every day, without prejudice or discrimination, as we work to ensure our center is a safe and inclusive place for our community to come together.”

In the wake of the scandal, Love deleted her Twitter account and limited comments on her Instagram profile.

Georgia began her career as a journalist for WIN News before her profile skyrocketed in 2016 when she was cast on Channel 10’s The Bachelorette.

She became an informal reporter for Ten Eyewitness News, later renamed 10 News First, but was fired in early 2021 due to budget cuts.

She announced that she had joined Seven News Melbourne in February.
