Former Today show weatherman Steve Jacobs reveals his biggest challenge during lockdown
Like many, Steve Jacobs has had a tough year in these uncertain Covid times.
And now the former Today Show weather forecaster, and father of two, has revealed what he found most challenging about his time under lockdown.
‘Definitely homeschooling,’ he said The Daily Telegraph on Sunday.

“I’m an outdoorsy person and sitting at home all day can be quite frustrating,” he continued.
“Not to mention the third year homework, that’s a lot harder than I remember!”
Stevie is father to daughters Isabella, nine, and Francesca, seven, whom he shares with ex-wife Rose.
On the plus side, the TV veteran says the Silver Liner has been enjoying the outdoors with his kids once school ends for the day.

“(I like) afternoons at the beach or in a park playing with the kids,” he said.
‘I think it’s extremely important to get outside and enjoy the fresh air and sun as much as possible.’
“Knowing that we are all in the same situation and that an end is in sight is so encouraging. But it’s the funny things my kids do every day that make me laugh and realize that life is pretty good no matter what,” he added.

Steve retired from Channel Nine in 2019 after being replaced as weather host of the Today show by Tim Davies.
He is currently hosting a breakfast radio show on 2UE.
Steve and his ex-wife broke up in 2018.
