The 30-year-old personal trainer from Adelaide, South Australia, said the tip involves placing a resistance band around your arms to support your body during the movement.

When you do your pushup, the resistance of the band helps you transition from modified pushups on your knees to pushups on your toes.

Kayla demonstrated the fitness tactic and said it worked well and would definitely recommend it to clients who find push-ups difficult.

Pushups can often be quite challenging to perform correctly, as the movement requires full-body strength.

‘Okay…wait a minute!! THIS WORKS!! (And if you can’t tell from my face, I’m so glad it actually happened),’ Kayla wrote on Instagram.

To perform the move, simply place your arms in the loop of the resistance band and place it above your elbows, then simply perform the pushup.

“Once you start doing your pushups, it acts as a support and helps you execute the movement!” said Kayla.

“It works the same way resistance bands work when you’re trying to practice pull-ups!! You can even use different resistance strengths, like you would when pulling up a resistance band.”
