In its filing, the studio states that Young has “grossly failed to live up to its fiduciary interest by embezzling and stealing money from (the company’s) bank account and using the money for her own personal obligations.”

Young could be in serious legal trouble if the studio’s allegations turn out to be true.

The company accuses her of violating the Criminal Code 496, which states: “Anyone who purchases or receives any property that has been stolen or obtained in any way involving theft or extortion, knowing that the property will be stolen or obtained.” , or who conceals, sells, withholds or aids in the concealment, sale or withholding of owner’s property … shall be punished by imprisonment not exceeding one year.’

Back in October, TMZ reported that the Los Angeles Police Department was investigating Young for the withdrawals, although she claims she had the right to withdraw the money because her name was on the account.
