Network workers received an urgent memo on Sunday instructing them to get tested and self-isolate if they visited the cafe last Thursday or Friday.

The studio has been thoroughly cleaned up since the Covid scare, and Studio 10 and 10 News First production continues.

A spokesperson for 10 told TV Blackbox on Monday: “Network 10 can confirm that an employee has tested positive for Covid-19.

“The health, safety and well-being of all staff and the community is our number one priority.

‘All close contacts of the employee have been mapped out. They have been advised to have themselves tested and isolated for 14 days, regardless of the result.’
