A 15-year-old boy was shot dead and another seriously injured at a hayride event in Pennsylvania after an argument at a ticket office.
A gunman — believed to be between the ages of 15 and 17 — opened fire on the Haunted Hills Hayride in northern Versailles, about 16 miles from Pittsburgh.
The hayride was intended as part of a Lights Out Event to celebrate the start of the fall season. Saturday was the first night of the season.
The group argued at the ticket office before the gates were to open at 8:15 PM.
The boys were near a boarding area before three to four shots were heard.
Two teens were gunned down Saturday night at Haunted Hills Hayride in Northern Versailles, Pennsylvania, leaving one dead and another seriously injured.

The two victims were then taken to hospital by first responders, one of whom was pronounced dead and the other in critical condition, police said.
Allegheny County Police Department Lieutenant Vernando Costa called the aftermath of the shooting “chaotic” as 500 people were dispersed from the area.
“If a 15-year-old is shot during a haystack ride, I think it’s a terrible shame,” Costa said. NBC.
‘You come to an area where you are going to have fun. Anyone could have been hurt.’
“We were in our scene getting ready for more people to come down,” contributor Pipper Donaldson told KDKA.
“We heard the shots and someone came running past us and didn’t tell us anything.
‘(We heard) about four or five (gunshots), and they evacuated us. They didn’t tell us until the end until we were ready to leave.’
Twitter users also reacted to the shooting, dismayed that it took place at a family celebration.
“Shooting on a spooky ride full of kids wtf man…pray these kids get home safe,” said @nattyfbabt.
“I’m honestly so sick and anxious about the NV Hayride shooting,” @_jenbeann said.
“I hope everyone who has been hit is okay and that they find those gunmen now… everyone safe out there!!!
