France erupts as Australia prepares to drop $90 BILLION submarine plan for US nuclear-powered flotilla – complaining they’ve been ‘stabbed in the back’
France has been ‘stabbed in the back’ by Australia’s nuclear submarine deal, a former top diplomatic official has said.
“The world is a jungle,” ex-US ambassador Gerard Araud tweeted Monday.
France has just been reminded of this bitter truth by the way the US and UK stabbed her in the back in Australia. C’est la compete.’
Australia, through a French company, has been planning for years to build a $90 billion fleet of new submarines in Adelaide.
