Following Brazil’s defeat, Vidal wrote on Instagram: ‘See us in Chile, but without help’, insinuating that Brazil needed the help of officials to beat them but would not be so lucky in World Cup qualifiers.
His full message read: ‘It hurts me so much to lose and know we can’t fight for the titles we all want.
“But I’m going to calm down now because we’ve left life on the pitch and we’ve got Brazil back on our knees and the best thing about this is we’ll see Brazil again in September and be better prepared and we’ll see who wins !!! Chile I love you and I die for my flag.’
But when the two teams met on Friday, Brazil won again, with Everton Ribeiro’s goal proving to be the difference in a 1-0 win.

Vidal’s previous comments soon resurfaced and Brazilian outlet TNT Sports shared them on Instagram.
Richarlison responded with “Se busca” to the post, which roughly translates to “wanted.” The attacker then shared the message on his story.
Vidal was quick to respond, sharing an edited photo of Richarlison playing for Brazil with a clown emoji over his face, captioning “And this clown who knows him.”
Brazil top their World Cup qualifying group with seven wins from seven matches.
Chile is now seventh and runs the risk of missing another World Cup. The top four countries qualify automatically, with the fifth team advancing to a play-off.
