Arsenal continued their perfect start to the Women’s Super League season yesterday with a 4-0 win over Aston Villa.
Two goals from captain Kim Little helped the Gunners clinch victory in the first four games of new boss Jonas Eidevall.
Little broke the deadlock in the second half.

Mana Iwabuchi and Katie McCabe also scored before Little completed defeat late – her goals took her to the milestone of 150 and 151 strikes for the club.
“For me, the final standings are just as important as the starting position,” said Eidevall, noting the late run of goals from his side.
“It’s great to finish the game as strong as possible.”

Elsewhere, Fran Kirby hit a hat-trick of assists in Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Brighton. Guro Reiten, Sam Kerr and Danielle Carter scored for Emma Hayes’ side.
Hayes used her post-match comments to pay respects to the murdered Sarah Everard, saying, “My job is to educate my son Harry to understand the importance of women.”
She added to star-of-the-match Kirby: “Fran at her best is one of the best. Her standards are through the roof.’
