Ant asked Dec the question, “Who wrote the theme song for Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win?”

Dec immediately raised his hand and said, “I know this one. It was Gary Barlow – he wrote it at home on his piano.

“We didn’t do a crooner session with him,” he added.

“We should, but I don’t know what we’d do—there’s no singing,” Ant commented.

The pair also revealed that the show was originally called Mount Fortune before it became Limitless Win, and that as many as 3,000 questions had been written.

Discussing some of the secrets behind the scenes, they also shared that the show’s gameplay was played out in a secret facility that only a few people had access to, not even allowing Ant and Dec in.

It comes after the TV stars spoke to MailOnline and said they never lose sleep over whether their shows will be a success or not.

Ant: ‘I don’t feel that pressure anymore in terms of nighttime numbers because the landscape has changed. The pressure is to do it right and put on the right show.

“It looks really good, we delivered what we wanted to deliver. You are nervous about launching a new project, but we are very proud of what we have done. It’s the show we had in mind.”

Dec added: ‘We are proud. You put it there and hope people like it. It’s a fun, exciting, dramatic watch.

“We hope people like it as much as we do, but you can never tell, right? You feel a little busy, but there you don’t have the sleepless nights, the sleepless nights are before you record the show.”

Explaining why they decided to do the show, Dec said, “We were intrigued by the idea. We loved it and got in and helped develop it further.

“We think we came out with an exciting, fun, dramatic, dangerous hour of television.”

Meanwhile, Ant and Dec also joked that their new game show could bankrupt ITV as contestants compete for an unlimited jackpot.

In what ITV say is ‘the greatest prize ever conceived’ is up for grabs, the five-part series has an endless money ladder, with only one correct answer bringing in the money.

If they push their luck too far, they fall out of the game and lose everything.

Speaking of the limitless prize money, Ant told MailOnline: ‘We were afraid we would go bankrupt on ITV.’

“We’ve had some sleepless nights over whether the contestants would keep winning and winning and we’ve given away millions of pounds.

“One could go ahead and win a world first when it comes to the amount of money. There is a concern that one will go on forever.”
